1 Trade the Houston Rockets Could Make With Every Other Lottery Team

Looks like the Houston Rockets want to trade the third overall pick.

Where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire, unless you’re at a cigar club meeting. The Rockets have been the subject of seemingly endless rumors surrounding this pick.

Who knows? They can keep the choice. It takes two to make an exchange. Who can say if the Rockets will find a high-value deal for their pick?

Still, it seems reasonable to conclude that the Rockets are willing to move the pick. We’ve seen them linked to both the Nets and Grizzlies. Who knows what else they could do?

Please do not take these suggestions as endorsements. This is not the case. There are several deals in this article that we wouldn’t pull the trigger on, but we wonder if the Rockets might.

Here’s a deal they could make with every team in the lottery.

PSA: Rockets unlikely to move Tari Eason. You will no longer see his name in this article.

We noted a trade that sent him to the Blazers in a free agency deal. Let’s just say we gave it a bad rating. We wouldn’t touch this chord with a ten foot pole.

In fact, we probably wouldn’t even make a move for Grant. His agreement is prohibitively expensive. Still, this deal helps the Rockets improve their prospects for an immediate win while continuing to pursue a young player on the back end of the lottery.
