Several dead and several injured after shooting in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Kansas City police say two people are dead and two others are injured after an overnight shooting in east Kansas City.

Detectives are on site trying to find out what happened.


Police received a call around 1 a.m. Thursday from someone on the corner of 32nd and Agnes about a reported shooting.

The shooting occurred at a home near the corner of 32nd Street and Bellefontaine. When police arrived at the home where the shooting occurred, they found a man and a teenager at the scene, both suffering from sunburn.

When the emergency services arrived, she was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

According to KCPD, there were also two other victims of the shooting: a woman and another teenager. They were both taken to a nearby hospital and are expected to recover soon.
