One person died in a crash on the Mountain View Corridor

WEST JORDAN — One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision Monday afternoon, according to West Jordan police.

According to Sgt. Kendall Holt of the West Jordan Police Department, the accident occurred just after noon at the 9000 South and Mountain View Corridor.

A small SUV and a pickup truck were involved, with a passenger in the SUV dying as a result of the accident. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Police said no suspicious activity was suspected and all people involved were cooperating with the investigation. After a brief closure, all lanes were reopened. The police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
