Weekend outlook

The main impact of the front will be drier air through the weekend, resulting in a mostly dry forecast and a slight decrease in humidity. However, dry air is a double-edged sword this time of year as it heats us up more easily. Highs of over 35 degrees are expected Friday through Sunday. The heat index could be above 38 degrees at times. However, the chance of rain looks to be almost zero for Friday and Saturday, with perhaps a few isolated showers through Sunday.

Expanded outlook

Another weak front is expected to bring scattered showers and thunderstorms early next week. Increasing cloud cover and rain chances, as well as the front itself, should help bring highs back closer to normal at just over 35 degrees. The best rain chances are currently forecast for Monday and Tuesday, with a few afternoon thunderstorms still possible for the rest of the week.
