Early morning shooting leaves one dead on Tudor Drive

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – One person was killed following a fatal shooting on Tudor Drive early Wednesday morning, according to the coroner’s office.

Coroner Mark Bowen said the shooting occurred at Tudor Drive and Carp Drive.

The victim was shot at least once and was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:49 a.m., Bowen said.

Bowen said an autopsy is planned and identification will be released after next of kin are notified.
