Culver City Police Arrest Murder Suspect After Short Chase

Culver City Police arrested a suspect in connection with a homicide case after an automatic license plate reader (ALPR) camera system identified a vehicle wanted by another law enforcement agency.

The alarm was triggered on Wednesday afternoon and prompted officers to attempt to stop traffic.

The driver of the vehicle fled, resulting in a brief chase that ended near the 5900 block of Green Valley Circle. The suspect then exited the car and attempted to flee on foot. After a brief foot chase, officers were able to successfully apprehend the man.

The suspect arrested is believed to be the person wanted in a murder case in a neighboring area of ​​Los Angeles. Authorities praised the coordinated efforts of all involved that led to the successful arrest.
