Man wanted for attack on woman with stroller in Delco – NBC10 Philadelphia

According to authorities, police in Delaware County have joined forces to search for a man who attacked a woman with a stroller on Wednesday.

Officers with the Collingdale Police Department were called to Chester Pike and Pine Street on reports of a stabbing after several witnesses called 911 shortly before 2 p.m., police said.

A woman was pushing a child in a stroller when she was attacked by a man, witnesses told Collingdale police. She was taken to a nearby hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries; the baby was unharmed.

According to officials, the suspect was then seen running on foot from the scene toward Upper Darby. Witnesses attempted to pursue the suspect along the CSX Railroad before losing him.

With help from the Sharon Hill, Darby Borough, Darby Township and Folcroft police departments, the Collingdale Police Department was able to set up a perimeter to find the suspect, officials said.

Police are asking the public for help in locating the man wanted in connection with the stabbing. He is described as a man wearing a blue shirt with grey trousers and light two-tone New Balance trainers. He was also carrying a backpack at the time of the incident.

According to officials, the suspect also has a deformity on his right ear.
