Fayetteville man arrested for spying on grocery store

Deputies said the incident occurred at the Food Lion on Clinton Road in Stedman.

STEDMAN, N.C. (WTVD) – A Fayetteville man is facing felony charges after police say he shot a woman up her skirt at a grocery store.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred at a Food Lion grocery store on Clinton Road. Officials said a woman was shopping inside the store when Patrick Clark approached her from behind and took a photo up her skirt with his cellphone.

Clark was arrested and charged with secret espionage. He was released on $5,000 bail.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Investigation Unit is urging anyone who knows of or is a victim of a similar incident involving Clark to contact Detective R. Wolfe at (910) 677-5464.
