Bengaluru Rave Party: MAA President Manchu Vishnu suspends actress Hema – Telugu News

The recent incident at a rave party in Bangalore involving Tollywood actress Hema continues to make headlines. The case took a significant turn when it was revealed that 80 people, including Hema, were tested for drugs after the Bangalore Police took blood samples from them.

Following the positive test results, notices were served on all those involved, including Hema. While she initially cited health reasons for her absence from court, her subsequent failure to respond prompted the Bangalore Police to travel to Hyderabad, where they conducted an investigation at her residence, took her into custody and transported her to Bangalore after medical tests.

The incident has sparked a debate within the film industry, with more and more voices demanding that Hema be suspended by the Movie Artists Association (MAA). Actress Karate Kalyani was particularly vocal in her criticism and demanded immediate action against Hema.

In response to these demands, MAA president Manchu Vishnu has reportedly considered the issue of suspending Hema. He is believed to have conducted a survey within the association to seek members’ opinions on the matter. Since the majority of members are in favour of suspension, Vishnu is expected to announce Hema’s suspension soon.

However, it is important to note that this suspension is temporary and will remain in effect only until Hema is acquitted of all charges. If she is not acquitted, the suspension will become permanent.

Currently, Hema is being kept in Parappana Agrahara jail in Bangalore while investigations are ongoing. The incident has highlighted the growing concern about drug abuse in the film industry and the need for stricter measures to combat the problem. The members of the Movie Artistes Association (MAA) met on Wednesday evening with actress Hema also present. During the meeting, the possible suspension of Hema from the association was discussed at length. It looks like MAA president Manchu Vishnu is likely to take a final decision on the matter on Thursday.
