KCPD lifts Silver Alert for missing 85-year-old man

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Kansas City Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 85-year-old man diagnosed with dementia and other health problems.

According to KCPD, Victor S. Mejia was last seen leaving his apartment on foot around 10 a.m. in the area of ​​East 27th Street and Topping Avenue.

His height is given as 1.70 m and his weight as 68 kg. He has grey hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a brown jacket, navy blue trousers and white shoes.

According to police, Mejia is unable to care for himself.
