Motorcyclist killed after accident with SUV in Hermantown

HERMANTOWN, Minnesota – A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday at a busy intersection in Hermantown on the Miller Trunk Highway.

According to Hermantown Police, a 71-year-old Hermantown man was riding his Harley Davidson northbound on Stebner Road when it was struck by an SUV traveling westbound on Miller Trunk Highway.

The accident occurred around 11 a.m.

The 63-year-old driver, who also comes from Hermantown, suffered no serious injuries.

The police did not disclose the names of those involved or whether charges had been filed against the driver.

The investigation is ongoing.
