911 calls released after suspected driving aggression incident in Beavercreek

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) – Beavercreek Police are investigating an alleged road rage incident that resulted in one person being taken to the hospital.

According to 911 calls, Beavercreek police said shots were fired on northbound I-675 near Indian Ripple Road and Wagner Drive.


Police said they responded to the 911 call and found a maroon Ford station wagon that had been struck by multiple gunshots.

The second driver continued north, turned onto US-35 and stopped in Riverside to call police. Officers interviewed the occupant of one of the vehicles involved, who was uninjured.

The driver called suffered minor injuries and was taken to Miami Valley Hospital following the incident. He is expected to make a full recovery.

According to police, this incident is an indication that road rage is never a good strategy. No official charges have been filed. The case will be forwarded to the Greene County District Attorney’s Office and remains under investigation.
