YORK COUNTY, Pennsylvania – A York County man has been arrested and faces several charges, including rape of a child.

According to the Northern York County Regional Police Department, officers began investigating a report of a missing 12-year-old girl in Jackson Township at 3:05 a.m. on May 27. The girl’s parents noticed the disappearance around 1:30 a.m. when they checked her room and found she was missing.

After hours of searching, the missing child’s father saw her exiting a burgundy 2015 Hyundai Sonata, reportedly registered to 20-year-old Dylan McClintock of Philipsburg.

The 12-year-old victim stated that she was chatting with an adult from the State College area whom she met through a ChatIB app.

McClintock allegedly drove to York County and lured the victim into secretly coming out of her home to meet him. He drove her to a parking lot in West Manchester Township, where he raped her and then returned her home, police said.

McClintock reportedly dropped the victim off away from her home when he saw police officers there.

The victim was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation. Police conducted a forensic analysis of her cell phone and identified McClintock.

On June 4, McClintock was arrested and taken to Centre County Prison. He is currently awaiting extradition to York County, where his bail will be set.

McClintock was charged with rape of a child, involuntary deviant sexual intercourse with a child, unlawful contact with a minor, sexual abuse of a child, indecent assault, exhibitionism and enticement of a minor.
