Woman arrested and accused of killing another woman at an Orange County hotel, officials say

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has released more details about the investigation into a death at a hotel last year.

Officials said that on December 8, 2023, police arrived at the Waldorf Astoria on Bonnet Creek Resort Lane and found a 27-year-old woman shot to death.

At first, investigators thought it was a possible suicide, but detectives felt that something was wrong and that it could be murder.

The sheriff’s office said the suspect, Megha Saluja, and the victim had a relationship.

The prosecution presented the information to a grand jury.

Orange County officials said Saluja was arrested after the grand jury indictment.
