Video shows two shooters shortly before a man is shot on the West Side

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Police and Crime Stoppers are seeking information leading to an arrest in connection with a fatal shooting on the West Side.

On Sunday evening, May 19, police responded to the 1200 block of South San Marcos.

According to police, 33-year-old Miguel Angel Marquez was found bleeding from a gunshot wound in a nearby home.

The Crime Stoppers post states that Marquez came home but was locked out of the gate. After his stepfather let him in, Marquez went back outside for a few minutes.

A surveillance video shows two armed men shortly before the shooting.

A single gunshot was heard outside and Marquez could be heard screaming for help, Crime Stoppers said.

Marquez was later taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
