City police are working to identify the shooter from the Linbar Drive incident

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Detectives with the Division of Special Investigations are working to identify the person who allegedly fired shots and struck a motorist in late May.

A press release from the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) states that the shooting occurred on Sunday, May 26, at 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of Linbar Drive and Wallace Road.

Officials said it’s possible the victim was caught in a crossfire between other parties while driving through the area in his pickup truck. The suspect reportedly got into the passenger side of a light-colored pickup truck and fled the scene.
