Rockford man charged with sexually abusing two underage victims | MyStateline

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) – 33-year-old Sergio Arnenta has been charged with sexually abusing two children under the age of 13.

According to Rockford Police, authorities were contacted to investigate a report of sexual abuse of a juvenile on Monday, May 6.

During the course of the investigation, police said a second juvenile victim was identified.

According to police, Arnenta and the victims knew each other.

He was arrested on Wednesday, June 5, with the assistance of the United States Marshals Service on eleven counts of sexual assault.

Arnenta is currently incarcerated in the Winnebago County Jail.
