Buffalo woman convicted of fatally shooting another woman

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo woman was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for fatally shooting another woman in the city’s LaSalle neighborhood in 2022, the County Prosecutor’s Office announced Wednesday. ‘Erie.

Jasmine Craig, 31, fatally shot Lameshea Sanders, 30, outside her home on Berkshire Avenue near Parkridge Avenue just after 12:30 a.m. on August 22, 2022. Sanders died at the scene.

Craig was convicted of one count of second-degree murder in January after a four-day non-jury trial.
