Driver is pursued by police through Cape Cod and across the Sagamore Bridge

A Massachusetts man is facing nearly a dozen charges after leading police on a chase through several Cape Cod communities and across the Sagamore Bridge, according to state police. Sean Curran, 36, of Stoughton, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon after he struck stops while driving north on Route 3, just north of the Sagamore Bridge, authorities said. Massachusetts State Police officials said around 12:50 p.m., state troopers took the lead position in a chase initiated by Yarmouth police officers. Video footage shows the suspect vehicle, a gray pickup truck, fled from several MSP cruisers on Route 6 West as it approached the Sagamore Bridge. The video shows the suspect vehicle dodging a set of stop bars that were placed in the roadway near the southern base of the bridge. A trooper was then seen quickly pulling the grab bars off the road as state police continued to pursue the pickup. Another video shows several state troopers surrounding the suspect vehicle, which had come to a stop on Route 3 North, a short distance from Exit 3 in Plymouth. State police said Curran has three active warrants for his arrest and faces the following charges in connection with the pursuit: Failure to stop for police. Reckless driving of a motor vehicle. Driving a vehicle with a revoked/revoked license. Driving a vehicle with a suspended registration, driving an uninsured vehicle, license plate violation, speeding, marked lane violation, driving an unregistered vehicle and refusing to provide identification while driving a vehicle
