The Houston Texans quarterrier, CJ Stroud, lists its 5 best quarters of last season

Being one of the best NFL quarterbacks is an honor. We could be as talented as possible, but it takes a lot of effort, hard work and other capacities outside of them to become one of the best in the league in this position. For more than a decade, Tom Brady held the Best quarter of the NFL and still holds the title of Best quarter of all time.

The quarter of the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes, aims at this title, even if it will take much more victories at the Super Bowl to get there. Despite this, Mahomes, in the eyes of most people, is the best quarter of the league, which is why the second-year QB of the Texans, CJ Stroud, named it best QB in 2023 by appointing its five Best QB of last season.

Stroud completed his top five with a quarter of the Ravens Lamar Jackson, himself, Bills Josh Allen and the Cowboys Dak Prescott. A not too shabby list.

Mahomes, Jackson, Allen and yes, even Stroud himself made solid arguments last season to appear in the top five. The question mark has really just known who he placed in fifth place, Dak Prescott.

Prescott had a good season in 2023, but the cowboys once still managed to do much as a team outside of his game. Knowing that many NFL departure QBs were injured last season ( See Joe Burrow), we could always assert that guys like Kirk Cousins, Brock Purdy, Jared Goff and Tua Tagovaila have known better seasons and therefore deserve a five main considerations more likely.

Anyway, it’s pretty cool to see an QB Star from the NFL list its best players to have an idea of their reflection process. Stroud is called his confidence in his abilities and his game. After a convincing recruit season which allowed him to win the title of offensive recruit of the year, Stroud can probably even improve in his second season after the Texans have doubled their offensive abilities.
