17-year-old girl injured in shooting in Shiloh on Saturday

SAN ANGELO, Texas – San Angelo police are investigating a shooting incident that left a 17-year-old girl injured Saturday night.

At around 10 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a 911 call of a shooting victim in the 900 block of Shiloh Street. They found the girl with an apparent gunshot wound and administered first aid at the scene. The victim was taken by ambulance to Shannon Medical Center, where she was treated for her injuries, which SAPD said were not life-threatening.

The criminal investigation and crime scene departments as well as the agency’s drone team were called to the scene on Saturday to assist.

The investigation into the incident is currently ongoing and further information may be released at a later date, the SAPD said.
