Presumably stolen car crashes and remains in Golden Glades; 1 person arrested – NBC 6 South Florida

One person was arrested as police began investigating a suspected stolen vehicle that crashed and broke down in Golden Glades Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The investigation led a large police presence, including a helicopter, to the crash site at 65 NW 135th Street in Miami.

NW 135th Street was closed from N Miami Avenue to NW 1st Avenue. First Alert traffic reporter Johanna Torres advises drivers to take NW 125th Street instead.

Miami-Dade police said they were conducting a perimeter search for stolen vehicles.

The name of the arrested person was not disclosed.

Authorities did not immediately say whether there was any connection between that person and the allegedly stolen car.
