Columbia County offers new emergency alert system, Hyper-Reach

EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is now offering a new emergency alert system Wednesday.

The new system is called “Hyper-Reach” and is intended to provide citizens with up-to-date information about what is happening in their community.

According to official information, registration is very easy.

If your phone is nearby, all you have to do is scan the code in the video.

You can then receive notifications about missing persons, wanted fugitives, and other emergency alerts.

If you previously signed up for Code Red and would like to continue receiving emergency alerts, sign up for Hyper-Reach.
