One dead after shooting in southeast Wichita

WICHITA, Kansas (KSNW) – Police and emergency responders responded to the scene of a fatal shooting in southeast Wichita Tuesday evening.

The call came in just before 9:30 p.m. from the 4800 block of E. Funston, near the intersection of Funston and Oliver.

The Sedgwick County Emergency Management Center told KSN that one person had died.

KSN has dispatched a crew to the scene of the accident and will update this story as more information becomes available.
