Teen accused of attacking couple in Streeterville – NBC Chicago

Two teenagers have been charged with allegedly attacking a couple walking in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood on Friday night.

The two victims were walking in the 400 block of East Grand Avenue around 9:17 p.m. Friday when they were attacked by two people, police said.

Authorities said a 40-year-old man was hit several times on the head, while a 41-year-old woman was also attacked.

A 14-year-old is accused of assault for allegedly hitting the man in this case, while a 17-year-old woman is accused of hitting the woman during the attack.

Both suspects in the case were arrested at the scene and charged in Cook County Juvenile Court.
