What you need to know for the upcoming elections in Georgia

So Georgia doesn’t have elections, but some key Atlanta metro areas do.

Voters in DeKalb and Clayton counties still have runoffs to plan since candidates for CEO and sheriff, respectively, were not supported by more than half of the voters who turned out in the general primary.

Simply put, too few people supported a candidate to determine an election, triggering a runoff. Under Georgia election rules, runoff day is June 18, with early voting beginning the week before.

How to Register to Vote in Georgia

When it comes to Georgia elections, the greatest resource is the Georgia Secretary of State’s website.
