Sherman man arrested for burglary and impersonation of a public official

SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) – A Sherman man was arrested Sunday and charged with burglary and false identification as a police officer.

According to Sherman police, Jason Faulk damaged a car in the 400 block of North Travis Street and stole items from the vehicle, including an article of clothing with a police badge.

Faulk told officers he was a police officer, and police said he had items from the car with him.

He was charged with car theft and false identity as a police officer.
