Ye’s former assistant accuses him of sexual harassment in a lawsuit

Ye’s former assistant filed a civil lawsuit against the controversial rapper, accusing him of sexual harassment and non-payment of millions of dollars before she was wrongfully fired.

Lauren Pisciotta filed the lawsuit Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court alleging wrongful termination, breach of contract, sexual harassment and hostile work environment, unlawful retaliation and emotional distress.

She began working for the rapper as his executive assistant/personal assistant in 2021 after collaborating on his Yeezy Season 1 clothing line and working on his album Donda, the lawsuit states.

The lawsuit alleges that Ye repeatedly sent her sexually explicit photos and videos, asked her inappropriate questions about her sex life, and masturbated in front of her.

The lawsuit states that Pisciotta “neither welcomed nor encouraged these offensive acts, texts, videos and statements” and did not tolerate his behavior.

In 2022, she was wrongfully fired, the lawsuit says.

Ye, who has officially changed his name from Kanye West, did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday.

The lawsuit details numerous instances in which Ye allegedly sent sexually explicit text messages to Pisciotta, including one in which the rapper once asked, “Be honest with me… is my drug racist?”

“This is it,” the message reportedly read. “This fucking racist ass of mine. … I’m going to stare at pictures of white women with black asses and beat my racist ass. … This is not right, brother. After 400 years, we’re still at this point.”

Other incidents mentioned in the lawsuit included Pisciotta being forced to provide the rapper with honey to enhance his sexual performance and Yes revealing too much information about his sexual experiences.

The lawsuit alleges that Ye repeatedly sent Pisciotta photos of naked or topless women and texted her a video of a model performing oral sex on the rapper.

Ye asked Pisciotta for a hug, which she repeatedly refused, and asked her questions about her sex life, the lawsuit says.

“The defendant often told the plaintiff that he always wanted to have sex with her and that he had harbored these feelings for a very long time,” the lawsuit states. “The defendant also falsely bragged about having sex with the plaintiff or implied to his friends, business associates, and music and fashion partners that he had sex with the plaintiff.”

The rapper is said to have masturbated in front of Pisciotta several times.

According to the lawsuit, during an overnight flight to Paris, Ye asked Pisciotta to come into his compartment so they could talk. Ye allegedly closed the door, locking her in because it could only be opened from the outside.

While in the room, Ye allegedly lay on the bed and “masturbated under the covers until he fell asleep” while Pisciotta sat in a chair across from him, according to the lawsuit.

She was eventually allowed out of the room after she sent a text message to a staff member on the plane, it is said.

In another incident, Ye allegedly masturbated while on the phone with Pisciotta after telling her they needed to discuss business matters.

Ye “often asked the plaintiff if she could hear or guess what he was doing,” the lawsuit states.

The lawsuit states that despite repeated sexual harassment, Pisciotta “focused on her work and behaved as professionally as possible.”

The lawsuit also accuses the rapper of not paying Pisciotta properly.

Ye reportedly offered her an annual salary of $1 million but demanded that she be available to him 24/7. Pisciotta, who earned about $1 million a year from her social media, including an OnlyFans account, agreed.

At first, Ye had no problem with Pisciotta’s OnlyFans, the lawsuit says. But in 2022, the rapper allegedly told her he wanted her to be more “godlike” and asked her to delete the account. He said he would pay her $1 million if she deleted the account, which Pisciotta agreed to, the lawsuit says. However, she claims she never received the money.

In September 2022, the lawsuit says, she was offered a promotion to chief of staff and was told she would receive an additional $3 million. It says she was supposed to receive the money in one lump sum, but she never got it.

She was fired the following month and given a $3 million severance package. The lawsuit says she never received the severance package.

NBC News has asked Pisciotta for further comment.

This is the latest lawsuit against the rapper, who has already been sued by several former staff members of his troubled Christian school, Donda Academy. An April lawsuit accused him of spreading anti-Semitic conspiracy theories in front of staff and children, while a lawsuit last year claimed he only gave his students sushi and did not hold classes on the second floor because he was “afraid of stairs.”

The rapper has also been criticized several times for spreading anti-Semitic rhetoric on the platform X.
