The Houston Texans began their mandatory minicamp Tuesday, a day after conducting their annual Media Day drill.

Mandatory minicamp began today at the Houston Methodist Training Center.

The Texans will be on the practice field and are expected to do so again tomorrow and Thursday, then they will be off until mid-July and the start of training camp.

Yesterday, however, the team held its annual media day. National television stations had cameras in the building to record players during game introductions. For example, on NBC Sunday Night Football, when the starting teams are introduced, there is a small video at the bottom of the screen and the player says his name and the school he attended. In addition to recording them yesterday, the folks at the video board at NRG Stadium, as well as the content team here with the Texans, took advantage of the time and accomplished some cool things.
