Kanye West’s former assistant sues him for sexual harassment

  • Kanye West is being sued by his former personal assistant
  • Lauren Pisciotta claims she experienced sexual harassment and a hostile work environment while working for the rapper
  • She claims West sent her explicit texts and photos and masturbated in front of her.

Kanye West’s former personal assistant is suing the rapper after claiming she was subjected to explicit text messages, pornographic photos, videos and phone calls from him before his “wrongful firing.”

In the complaint, obtained by PEOPLE, Lauren Pisciotta – who says she also worked as an executive for his various companies – alleged she was subjected to sexual harassment and a hostile work environment while working for West and is seeking damages and breach of contract.

Pisciotta claimed she worked as an OnlyFans model and made about $1 million a year before she began working with West in July 2021. She said he hired her to work on his Yeezy women’s clothing line and collaborated with her on three songs for his Donda Album.

She said West then hired her as his personal assistant at a salary of $1 million on the condition that she be available “24” hours a day and “seven” days a week, which she accepted. During this time, she also continued her work for OnlyFans, according to the complaint.

After working as his assistant for a year, she claims the “Carnival” musician told her he wanted her to be “godlike” and demanded that she delete her OnlyFans account, in which case he promised her an additional $1 million payment to make up for her lost income, which she agreed to, she claims in the suit.

However, shortly after Pisciotta closed her account, West claims he began sending her explicit messages in which he explicitly described sexual acts he wanted to perform, as well as pornographic photos and videos.

She also claimed that West masturbated during phone conversations with her, asked her about her friends’ penis sizes and, in one instance, told her to take off her cardigan at the office because it “covered too much.” In another incident she detailed in the complaint, she claimed the rapper held her captive in a private room on his plane and masturbated in front of her.

Pisciotta said she was eventually promoted to chief of staff of his various companies in September 2022, which came with a salary of $4 million, but added that he fired her a month later. She said she was offered $3 million in severance pay but never received it.

Pisciotta is also suing West and his Yeezy business for fraud, unpaid wages and intentional infliction of emotional distress, the lawsuit says.

Representatives for West did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

This is not the first time the rapper has faced pornography allegations from his employees. Former Yeezy employees previously claimed that he played pornographic films at staff meetings, talked about pornography and even showed an intimate photo of his then-wife Kim Kardashian during job interviews, according to an article by Rolling Stone.

West also faces a separate lawsuit filed in April 2024 by one of his former employees, who claims he was subjected to “severe discrimination and harassment” while working for the star’s Yeezy brand and at his school, Donda Academy.

He did not respond to the other allegations.
