Melvin man arrested for sexual assault | News

MELVIN – A 29-year-old Melvin man was arrested Thursday, May 30, on charges of third-degree sexual abuse and four counts of child endangerment.

The arrest of Oscar Miguel Morales Gonzalez followed an investigation into a report of a two-year-old child walking down Main Street in Melvin wearing only a diaper.

During the investigation, it was determined that physical abuse of another child had occurred. It was also discovered that in May, while children were present in the room, multiple assaults with the intent to sexually abuse the children’s mother had occurred, according to the incident report.

A restraining order was imposed between Morales Gonzalez and the woman.
