Naperville police arrests May 26-28 – Chicago Tribune

The following points were taken from Naperville police reports and press releases. An arrest does not constitute a conviction:

  • A 21-year-old Aurora man was arrested on assault charges at 12:06 a.m. on May 26 in the first block of West Jefferson Avenue.
  • A 31-year-old Aurora woman was arrested at 12:11 a.m. on May 27 at the intersection of North Route 59 and North Aurora Road for illegal lane use, improper turn at an intersection, driving under the influence, and endangering the health/life of a child.
  • A 19-year-old Aurora man was arrested at 12:31 a.m. on May 27 at North Route 59 and West Jefferson Avenue for reckless driving, failure to obey a traffic signal, improper lighting/low or tail lights, obstructing a police officer and driving without a valid license/permit.
  • A 20-year-old Aurora man was arrested at 12:32 a.m. on May 27 at North Route 59 and West Jefferson Avenue by a passenger for illegal possession/transportation of alcohol.
  • A 28-year-old Champaign man was arrested at the corner of River Road and Aurora Avenue at 1:40 a.m. on May 27. He was charged with driving under the influence, driving without insurance and driving with an expired registration.
  • A 23-year-old Naperville man was arrested at 3:58 a.m. on May 27 in the first block of Olesen Drive on charges of assault, battery/assault and malicious damage to property.
  • A 26-year-old Plainfield man was arrested at 10:51 a.m. on May 27 at the intersection of South Route 59 and Beebe Drive on a warrant, a warrant for bail, and charges of speeding 26 to 35 miles over the limit and illegal transportation of cannabis.
  • A 19-year-old Naperville man was arrested at 1:55 a.m. on May 28 in the 2600 block of Blakely Lane on charges of burglary and residential burglary.
  • A 32-year-old Naperville woman was arrested at 7:28 a.m. on May 28 at the police station, 1350 Aurora Ave., on charges of aggravated cruelty to animals, cruelty to animals and endangering the health/life of a child.
  • A 21-year-old Aurora man was arrested at 6:07 p.m. on May 28 at the 1350 Aurora Ave. police station on charges of violating the Illinois State Traffic Code and malicious damage to property.
