Warm afternoon with some inland showers for the Jacksonville metro area – Action News Jax

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Action News Jax First Alert Weather Team is expecting some showers in the Jacksonville area Tuesday.

Here’s what we can expect, according to First Alert meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh:

  • Expect a dry morning with temperatures between 15 and 21 degrees Celsius.
  • Some isolated inland showers will develop along and west of US 301 after 3 p.m. this afternoon.
  • Inland, maximum temperatures will be between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius, while on the beaches they will be around 25 degrees Celsius.
  • There is a moderate risk of rip currents on local beaches.
  • By Thursday temperatures will rise again to over 35 degrees.
  • There is some chance of rain/storms for Jacksonville, especially Wednesday and Thursday.
  • A dry and hot weekend is ahead.
