FRESNO, CA (June 4, 2024) – A woman in her late 20s was injured in a pedestrian accident on Blackstone Avenue Sunday evening.

According to Fresno Police, the incident occurred on June 2 around 10 p.m. Under unknown circumstances, a northbound vehicle struck a pedestrian near Garland Avenue, just outside the ARCO gas station.

Rescue workers took the victim to a local hospital, where her condition remains critical.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident and cooperated with investigators.

Authorities did not disclose the names of those involved.

Fresno Police have ruled out drugs and alcohol as a factor in the crash. Officials will release more information as it becomes available.
