Janesville police investigate overnight incident, ask residents to avoid area | News

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WKOW) — Janesville police are asking the public to stay away from the area due to an ongoing investigation.

A message was sent out to the public around 3 a.m. on Tuesday alerting people to an incident near the intersection of West Court Street and Washington Street. They are asking people to avoid the area.

A Janesville Police officer confirmed to 27 News that there is no danger to the public.

The Janesville Police Department is assisted by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
