3 teenagers arrested after illegal car meet in Philadelphia draws hundreds of people and cars to Bustleton

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Philadelphia police have arrested three teenagers in connection with an illegal car meet in the Bustleton neighborhood.

Officers responded to the 500 block of Adams Avenue around 7:45 p.m. Sunday.

At the crime scene, authorities found a large crowd of almost 200 people and 100 vehicles.

When the police tried to disperse the crowd, a teenager reportedly tried to stop the officers.

The teenager then fled the scene and reportedly jumped into an Infiniti G35.

Investigators later stopped the car and arrested the teenager and two other people in the vehicle.

Alex Collins, 18, and James Campitelli, 19, are now facing charges of disorderly conduct.

According to police, the third accused person was a 16-year-old boy.
