His mother Kallie fought desperately for his life and later begged her fans to pray for his recovery as he was placed on life support.

On Monday, a close family friend posted a heartbreaking message on Facebook confirming the little boy’s death on June 2.

“The most perfect three-year-old ever. So perfect we couldn’t keep him,” Mindy Sue Clark wrote in the post.

“This little boy has moved mountains in the last 12 days. He has brought so many people together. In such a dark world, we have seen light through the hands of a child. He is everything his mommy and daddy would have wanted him to be.”

Clark then spoke about how challenging the last 12 days have been since she heard the news.

“From the moment my phone rang the night of his accident to last night when I got the news that he had to go. I don’t want to focus on the bad or sad, even though it feels like someone ripped my heart out and crushed it right in front of my eyes,” she explained.

She further praised the people who came together to support Levi while he was in the hospital.

“Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people surrounded our best little buddy, praying for him and lovingly embracing Levi and his family,” she said.

“We have never seen or experienced anything like this before. I don’t know if we will ever be able to fully process it.”

Kallie also shared a heartbreaking post on Saturday, sharing how she wanted to spend the final moments with her son.

A rodeo star’s 3-year-old son was declared brain dead after his desperate mother tried to save him when he drove a toy tractor into the river

“Soon I will climb into bed with my baby and hold him as he falls asleep for the last time on this earth,” she wrote.

“It brings me comfort to know that he will grow up to be the perfect little boy he was and have the ability to do all the things he loves!

“I know there are angels up there waiting to hold him in their arms until I can again! We will miss him every second of every day down here, but we are convinced that this is the best thing we can do for him!”

However, the grieving mother has not yet posted anything about Levi’s death.

TERRIBLE ACCIDENT

The most perfect three-year-old ever. So perfect that we weren’t allowed to keep him.

Mindy Sue Clark

Levi was playing outside on May 21 when Kallie suddenly lost sight of him and realized that he had fallen into the river.

She immediately took the initiative and dived into the water.

“She’s the one who found him and got him out,” Clark told local Fox affiliate KCPQ about Kallie.

The Beaver County Sheriff’s Office, local highway patrol, firefighters and the Beaver County Search and Rescue team rushed to the scene and rendered life-saving aid before Levi was transported by ambulance to Beaver County Hospital.

He was later flown by helicopter to a hospital in Salt Lake City, but did not regain consciousness and was declared brain dead.

‘I DO NOT GIVE UP’

Two days after the accident, there was a glimmer of hope when Kallie announced that her son had woken up.

“I’m shocked. We don’t know much, but the doctor said I should be happy and I am! My baby is so resilient!” Kallie wrote.

She later clarified that he had opened his eyes and was “wiggling purposefully back and forth” but had not spoken.

“Spencer and I felt like he knew we were there and could hear us,” she added.

Kallie also revealed that she sang him “the digger song” and talked about his favorite tractors and what they would do when he came home.

She informed her followers that Levi had gone for an MRI, but later revealed that it had not gone well.

“The MRI was not good, we are shocked, but they are only images that suggest a certain quality of life,” she said.

“What Levi does over the next few days will really tell us everything.

“Please keep praying! I’m not giving up on my baby yet.”
