One dead after driving aggression incident in Clearfield

CLEARFIELD, Utah – One person is dead after a road rage incident led to a shooting in Clearfield Monday night.

Devin Rogers of the Clearfield City Police Department said at 6:26 p.m., two cars were involved in a traffic accident. One car fled and the other car pursued.

They chased each other for several blocks until a vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway in the area of ​​1200 West and 300 North streets.

The person who had stopped their car approached the other car and shot the driver. The person, who was in his 60s, died.

Rogers said the other person involved is in police custody.
