Accident in Yonkers leads to closure of Exit 3 of the Cross County Parkway

According to Westchester County Police, Exit 3 on the Cross County Parkway is closed due to an accident that occurred Monday evening.

The accident occurred around 8 p.m. on Yonkers Avenue

According to the police, there were indeed injuries in the accident. It is unclear how many people were involved and how serious their injuries were.

News 12 observed several police officers and a tow truck driver setting up flares to direct traffic away from the exit.
