Shooting at Irving Wingstop leaves one dead, one injured – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

A homicide investigation is underway following a shooting at a Wingstop restaurant in Irving that left one person dead and another victim hospitalized Monday night.

Irving Police said on social media that officers were investigating a shooting that occurred around 8 p.m. in the 960 block of E. Irving Boulevard

According to police, one person was fatally wounded by gunfire and another person, who is expected to survive, was taken to a local hospital.

Irving police confirmed that the suspected gunman was arrested without incident near the scene of the fatal shooting.

The names of the suspect and the murder victim have not been released publicly.
