Andy Cohen called Bethenny Frankel’s “reality reckoning” a “sustained attack” against him.

In a new interview with Vulture published Monday, the Bravo boss said he was surprised when the former “Real Housewives of New York City” star claimed that reality TV stars are being financially exploited and should join last summer’s actors’ strike.

Looking back on the past year, he told the outlet, “There was a lot of noise. And I was definitely sad about it.”

Frankel, who used to be a good friend of Cohen, claimed that she “generated millions and millions of dollars through advertising and online appearances on reality TV and never earned a single cent for it.”

“So either I’m missing something or we’re being fooled too,” she told her Instagram followers in July 2023.

Frankel, 53, pointed to her first paycheck from her first season on “RHONY,” claiming she received $7,250 in 2008.

But when the Skinnygirl founder left the show in 2019 after eight seasons, she reportedly earned $1 million.

In August 2021, Frankel took her alleged “attack” on Bravo a step further when her lawyers demanded that the network and its parent company NBCUniversal abandon their nondisclosure agreements so that the alleged mistreatment of cast members could be made public.

Around the same time, their lawyers Bryan Freedman and Mark Geragos released a statement claiming Bravolebrities had been subjected to “grotesque and depraved abuse.”

A letter accused NBC and Bravo of excessively “giving the cast alcohol while depriving them of food and sleep.”

The document also claimed that the television personalities were denied psychiatric treatment despite there being “obvious and alarming signs of mental deterioration.”

She also claimed that she had “never earned a single residual amount” despite generating “millions and millions” through advertising and online impressions. Nightline

However, an NBC spokesperson told us that the company is “committed to providing a safe and respectful workplace for the cast and staff of our reality shows.”

They added: “When complaints are brought to our attention, we work with our production partners to ensure that appropriate action is or has been taken in a timely manner, including investigations, medical and/or psychological support and other remedial actions that may be necessary, such as personnel changes.”

In December 2023, Frankel also made scathing remarks about Cohen, 56, during ABC News’ special “Impact x Nightline: Reality Reckoning?”

“He didn’t make me a star,” she said at the time. “He made himself a star on the backs of all those women.”

At the time, a source told Page Six that Frankel was recruiting “former housewife types” for her crusade.

Former “RHONY” star Leah McSweeney subsequently claimed in a sensational lawsuit that Cohen offered cocaine to his favorite “Housewives.”

She also claimed that the host of “Watch What Happens Live” took advantage of her drinking problem to boost ratings.

A spokesman for Cohen had previously denied the allegations and told us: “The allegations against Andy are completely false.”

In February, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville also called out Cohen’s alleged “extraordinary abuse of power.”

In a lawsuit obtained by Page Six, she claimed he invited her to watch him have sex with “Below Deck” star Kate Chastain.

However, it later emerged that Glanville’s allegations were “unfounded”.
