Hindu youth attacked in Shivamogga for giving Muslim girl a ride on bicycle

Shivamogga: A gang of Muslim youths reportedly attacked a Hindu youth while he was carrying his colleague from the Muslim community on a bicycle near Ilyasnagar in the city on Sunday.

According to police, the victim is SB Nandan, a resident of Kumbaragundi in Shivamogga.

He is employed in a private company in the city and the Muslim girl also works in the same company. The two were on their way to the girl’s house on bicycles when they were intercepted by a gang of Muslim youths.

The gang threatened Nandan that they would kill him if he was seen with the girl again. They also asked him why he took the Muslim girl on the motorcycle. He was admitted to McGann Hospital in the city. Doddapete police registered a case.
