Woman found dead in Greensboro home on Durham Street, man charged with first-degree murder, police say

GREENSBORO, NC (WGHP) – Greensboro Police made an arrest Friday in connection with a homicide, according to a Greensboro Police press release.

Marlow Jamaal High, 39, was arrested on a recently issued warrant for first-degree murder in 2023.

High is charged with the murder of Erica Sharell Burden, 47, on March 27, 2023.

Police found Burden dead that same evening in her home in the 100 block of Durham Street.

High is being held without bail in the Guilford County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
