Man arrested on multiple charges after breaking into Jackson school

JACKSON, Tennessee – An arrest has been made following a car crash at a local school.

According to the Jackson Police Department’s Police to Citizen website, 30-year-old Sheldon Breon Mann was taken into custody at 532 Whitehall Street in Jackson around 11 p.m. on Friday, May 31.

The address where the suspect was arrested matches that of Lincoln Elementary School in Jackson.

We contacted Stephanie Graham, JPD spokesperson, who confirmed the following information: The charges against Mann include driving without/with a suspended license, two counts of evading arrest, resisting a traffic stop, and theft over a thousand dollars.

The incident occurred last Friday evening. WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News informants led us to the scene where a vehicle had driven into the school.

Multiple authorities responded to the crash scene and our crew witnessed one person being arrested.

According to records available online, Mann remains in custody at the Madison County Jail.
