CATS suspends Blue Line and Gold Line service for annual maintenance

CHARLOTTE, NC – All Blue Line and Gold Line service will be suspended Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 as the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) conducts preventative maintenance. Bus bridges will remain in operation during the service suspension and service will resume as usual at 5 a.m. on Monday, June 10.

This annual maintenance allows crews to make necessary improvements to the rail system and ensures that rail journeys run smoothly and reliably. Conducting regular rail maintenance is critical to preserving CATS’ rail system for years to come.
