Two teenagers killed in Seattle shootings

Four people, including two teenagers, were injured in two shootings in Seattle on Saturday. The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is currently investigating both incidents. The first shooting occurred in downtown Seattle, where two teenagers were injured in a drive-by shooting.

According to a blog post on the SPD Blotter, officers responded to a 911 call reporting multiple gunshots and people running in the 300 block of Pike Street at 1:11 a.m. When they arrived at the scene, officers discovered two “male juveniles” suffering from gunshot wounds.

The Seattle Fire Department (SFD) immediately rendered medical aid to the victims and they were subsequently transported to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment. One of the victims was in serious condition, while the other was also in serious condition.

In the second shooting, which occurred several hours later, a man and a woman were shot during a shootout in the Yesler Terrace neighborhood. The SPD is also investigating that incident. Further details about the circumstances leading up to that shooting have not been released.

To date, no suspects have been arrested in connection with the shootings. SPD is actively working to gather more information and is urging anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
