According to a report by 404 Media, Nintendo was previously affected by leaked information obtained by a Google employee who accessed private YouTube videos. Google conducted an internal review and concluded that the activity was “unintentional.”

404 Media says its Article is based on “a copy of an internal Google database that tracks potential privacy and security issues over six years.” The thousands of incidents were actually reported by employees of the company. The database also covers a host of other incidents, ranging from the accidental collection of children’s voice data to Google Street View transcribing and storing license plates from photos.

As for the Nintendo leaks, it is unclear which announcements were affected. The database report is based on incidents that occurred between 2013 and 2018.
