A man from North Tonawanda brought to justice for having fatally stabbed someone outside a Kenmore Ave apartment building.

North Tonawanda, NY – A 28 -year -old North Tonawanda man accused of having fatally stabbed someone in September 2023 was brought to justice before the city court of Buffalo.

John A. Rudes had fatally stabbed a 59 -year -old man outside a building located at the Pâté de Maisons 100 in Kenmore avenue. Buffalo Police officers who responded to the scene found the victim on the front porch with multiple stab wounds to his neck and upper chest. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rudes was accused of having intentionally caused the death of the victim and was brought to justice for a second degree murder leader.

He is detained without surety and must return to court on Wednesday, June 5. If he is found guilty of the highest count, he will incur a maximum sentence of 25 years in life.
