Traffic warning for London Shopping Center Road

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A traffic alert is in effect for motorists heading to the London Shopping Center in Laurel County. The Department of Transportation has announced that London Shopping Center Road will be closed starting Monday morning for the next two weeks.

Officials say construction crews will be working on a new access road to State Road 192 as part of a traffic reduction project. The road is expected to reopen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18.

In the meantime, access to the mall will remain open at the traffic light near the post office and Walgreens. Please plan your route accordingly.
