BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Dreams of the big screen might be within reach for some local Buffalo actors.

Casting Buffalo is organizing an event this summer to help budding talents progress and make themselves known: the Casting Buffalo Actors Expo.

Taking place at Rich’s Atrium on August 3 from noon to 7 p.m., the event will feature dozens of local vendors and exhibitors. Anyone interested in the industry can seek career advice from acting and singing coaches, headshots and seminars, among other opportunities.

The event itself will be hosted by Andrew Lewis Caldwell (“How I Met Your Mother,” “iZombie”) and will feature a Q&A with actor Stephen McKinley Henderson (Civil war, Dune, Lady Bird).

Tickets to the Casting Buffalo Actors Expo are $40 for general admission and $25 for students with valid ID. They can be purchased here.
